I feel incredibly excited to be joining the Development Team at Synergos. I have been fortunate to work with companies that I shared a connection with through the stated mission, and Synergos is no different. I started at Center for Spectrum Services, a non-profit school in the Hudson Valley, where I worked on fundraising campaigns and events, public relations, and grant writing. After graduating with an MBA from SUNY New Paltz, I spent time at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, where I was able to refine my research skills and event management. I then joined CloserStill Media, an organization that focused on conventions, where I worked on the US Veterinarian Portfolio as Conference Speaker and Logistics Liaison. This opportunity helped me refine my project management and communication skills across 5 large scale events. After COVID-19, I joined James Beard Foundation on the Development team, overseeing moves management, database building, as well as managing their esteemed Scholarship Program and co-managing the Food & Beverage Investment Fund for Black and Indigenous Americans. At Synergos, I'll be bringing my experience in database building, moves management and prospect pipelines, project management, and communication to help the Development department grow and assist in supporting the operations and programs that Synergos is known for. On weekends, depending on the time of year, you can either find me at Citi Field supporting the New York Mets, on a hiking trail, at a local coffee shop, or at one of the many venues in the city for a concert. A fun fact about me: I have become a regular supporting band member at the twice annual John Lennon memorials in Central Park for his birthday and the day he was killed.
