Liliana Guimarães holds a double B.A. in Law and Public Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas. With over five years of experience in Brazil’s nonprofit sector, she specialized in social impact evaluation, public policy analysis, and grants management. As Communications Associate at Synergos, she’s responsible for telling stories about the organization’s worldwide network of changemakers, as well as supporting events catered to philanthropists and social impact entrepreneurs. Prior to Synergos, at the British Council she managed the UK-Brazil Skills for Prosperity program with a focus on gender and social inclusion and decolonial English Language Teaching in Brazilian public schools. She began her career at IDIS - Institute for the Development of Social Investment, a pioneering philanthropic organization in Brazil, where she managed several impact assessment studies in the cultural and educational fields.
Liliana is passionate about language, visual arts, music, design, nature, the cosmos, and dogs. She wants to contribute to a world where art is a tool for freedom, and where trust is the foundation of human relations.
