K S Murthy is a Post Graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad with 25+ years’ experience in Social Development Sector as an Entrepreneur, Team Leader, Manager and Independent Consultant.
A Synergos Senior Fellow, he has established partnerships and collaborations between corporates, governments and civil society organizations. He was an instrumental force in convening Bhavishya Alliance – a unique multi-stakeholder partnership in India to develop a cohesive response to child undernutrition in the State of Maharashtra.
Murthy has held senior positions across Asia and Africa in international development organizations, corporate foundations, NGOs, and managed diverse projects in the areas of nutrition, agriculture and animal welfare, rural development, livelihoods, health sector reforms, maternal and child health, health & family welfare, reproductive healthcare. He has been involved in developing & strategizing sustainable policy & programmes, designing & implementing projects, setting up and managing processes and systems, institutionalizing and managing operations that benefit wide variety of communities through diverse clientele.
