Bruce McCombie is the Philanthropy Partner for Europe at Synergos, where he leads engagement with philanthropic families and networks across the region to advance collaboration and systems change. He has over 15 years of experience in social impact and non-profit leadership, with a focus on building cross-sector partnerships.
Before joining Synergos, Bruce led Global Partnerships for Unreasonable Group, working internationally to scale entrepreneurial solutions to the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Earlier in his career, he served as Deputy CEO of Pilotlight, a UK social enterprise that connects business expertise with non-profits to build leadership capacity and accelerate social impact.
From Scotland, Bruce has lived and worked in Canada and Japan, and now calls London home. He currently serves on the Board of Forum for the Future, an international sustainability non-profit accelerating the transition to a just and regenerative future. His voluntary and board roles reflect a deep commitment to improving outcomes for young people. Since 2019, he has chaired the Advisory Board of LMP Group, a leading education and training group helping young people across the UK build skills and access opportunity, and previously served as Chair of Trustees for a non-profit organization supporting young adults with autism into employment.
