This four-day workshop, held in October 2016, aimed to raise the capacity of leaders in the agriculture sector in Benue, Kogi, and Kaduna states – including people from farmers’ organizations, extension workers, investors, government officials, and others – to promote collaboration that transforms agriculture.

The State Partnership for Agriculture (SPA) is a partnership between the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and various state governments in Nigeria, with Synergos as implementing partner. It is using a systems-change approach to bring about a shift from subsistence and survival farming to the business of agriculture.
