Joanna Safarik is a part of Synergo’s Collaborative Community lead staff. She has extensive experience in program management, fundraising, nonprofit and philanthropy advising, having worked with organizations in the US, Europe and Africa. She co-founded PeaceJam Czech Republic, an affiliate of the PeaceJam Foundation whose mission is "to create young leaders committed to positive change through the inspiration of Nobel Peace Laureates." Joanna has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Chicago and is currently completing her M.B.A. studies.
