Abstract
This is a cross-case analysis paper from the series Process and Techniques of Foundation-Building: Experiences from Eight Organizations in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
It explores a variety of sources of financing for foundations from both domestic and international sources, and looks at the advantages and challenges of the different sources.
The preparation of the series of case studies was made possible by support from the Ford Foundation, the Aspen Institute, the C.S. Mott Foundation and the Compton Foundation.
