Abstract
This presentation was created by the Synergos Institute to aid in the institutional development of other foundations and organizations. It points out that three possible challenges for new foundations are conceptual, financial as well as the focus and expectations. The presentation gives examples of vision and mission statements from Synergos partner organizations. It also highlights key ideas for strategic planning as well as resources and support organizations for foundations.
