Rasha Abo Elsoud’s two organizations, The Workshops and Maktaby, aim to provide individuals with training and employment opportunities necessary for them to reach their full potential. The Workshops, with locations in Cairo and Hurghada, is an open learning space that offers customized classes, tailored to fit participants’ desires and schedules. The Workshops is open to people of all ages, whether as individuals or as part of company, as a means to acquire new skills. Classes range from language instruction to violin lessons, and from theater courses to automotive workshops. Additionally, Rasha recently founded Maktaby, a website that provides individuals with an online office where they can run their business from home.
Through Maktaby, Rasha helps housewives, retirees, and those with special needs to attain greater financial independence. Rasha became a Pioneer of Egypt after being selected as a finalist in the Start-Up Cup entrepreneurship competition.
