Luther Bois Anukur is the Executive Director of Panos Eastern Africa. Panos seeks to address the contemporary needs and development concerns of the poor and marginalized through research, documentation, policy analysis and communication. It creates media visibility for their concerns and informing policy debate and dialogue through building the capacity of civil society and the media.
Previously, Luther worked with international development agencies Lutheran World Federation, World Vision International and Child Fund International, in the areas of program development and management, with experience serving in various top leadership positions as well as working at the grass root level. He is a winner of the prestigious annual award “The Professional Male of the Year”? by the British Council and Uganda Management Forum for professional service to the country in 2006.
Luther has a B.A in Social Sciences in Economics and Social Administration from Makerere University, Kampala, and an MBA from the East and Southern Africa Management Institute and Maastritch School of Management, Netherlands,
