Husam Jubran serves as representative in Jordan and the Palestinian Territories for the Synergos Institute’s social entrepreneurship programs. He joined Synergos in 2007 and in his position he worked to locate and recruit social entrepreneurs in Palestine and Jordan, as well as working with them on capacity building and development of their innovations.
He has a master’s degree from the Eastern Mennonite University in Conflict transformation and Peacebuilding, and a diploma in tourism. Mr. Jubran also works as political and interfaith tour guide to the Holy Land. He works with Mejdi Tours providing tours to National Geographic Expeditions. He also the director of the Facilitation Program at Hands of Peace, an organization that brings Palestinian and Jewish kids together for three weeks of dialogue. In his free time he provides trainings in conflict management, crisis management, and nonviolence.
