Sarah is the Managing Director, Development & Communications at Synergos, responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s communications and fundraising strategies to raise Synergos’ profile and financial resources. Sarah has previously worked as a staff member, consultant and volunteer for nonprofit organizations in the US and internationally for over 20 years, with an emphasis on development, management and strategic planning for the nonprofit sector.
Prior to joining Synergos in 2016, Sarah held senior positions at Innovations for Poverty Action, Concern Worldwide US, the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative, U.S. Fund for UNICEF, and New York University. Sarah also has extensive experience as a consultant working with diverse organizations such as the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, The Armory Foundation, Blue Man Group (Blue School), and The International Center. Sarah earned her BA in International Affairs from The American University of Paris and an MPA from New York University; she is also a Certified Fundraising Executive.
