A Celebration of Partnership
Since 1997, each year University for a Night brings together leaders from business, government, civil society and philanthropy to learn from each other, to share experiences and ideas, and make connections that will help address issues of global poverty and equity.
Participants at the 2008 event also honored two people whose works represent what the evening is all about. The 2008 recipients of the David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award were Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and Fazle Hasan Abed of Bangladesh, Founder and Chairperson, BRAC.
