Neville Isdell

E. Neville Isdell, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Coca-Cola Company
Mr. Isdell joined Coca-Cola in 1966 with the local bottling company in Zambia. He became Chairman in 2004, after having served with Coca-Cola businesses in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. He is Chairman of the US-Russia Business Council and a member of the board of trustees of the International Business Leaders Forum, the United States Council for International Business, Emory University and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Mr. Isdell is also a member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Global Business Council on HIV/AIDS.

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia
The first woman elected head of state in Africa, Mrs. Johnson Sirleaf has served her country as a democracy activist and as Minister of Finance. During time in exile from Liberia she held a variety of positions in banking and international development, including at the World Bank, at Citibank and as Director of the United Nations Development Programme's Regional Bureau for Africa. She is a Founding Member of the International Institute for Women in Political Leadership and a former member of Synergos' Board of Directors.

Charles A. Minor

Charles A. Minor, Ambassador of Liberia to the United States
Ambassador Minor has a distinguished career in the corporate, government and intergovernmental sectors, having worked extensively on issues of enterprise and , human resource development, and management with organizations including Arthur D. Little, the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the United Nations Development Programme. He has also taught at academic institutions in the United States, Ghana and Liberia.

 

Ingrid Srinath

Ingrid Srinath, Chief Executive, Child Rights and You
Ms. Srinath leads Child Rights and You (CRY), an Indian nonprofit organization started and managed by Indians in 1979 to improve the rights and situation of children. Ms. Srinath has worked extensively within the private sector, as a manager and vice president for a number of corporations based in India. She is a Synergos Senior Fellow.

 

Ted Turner

Ted Turner, Founder and Chairman, the United Nations Foundation
Philanthropist Ted Turner created the UN Foundation in 1998 with his historic gift in support of the United Nations. He has said that his gift is an "investment in the future of humanity." An entrepreneur and environmentalist, he is Chairman of Turner Enterprises, Inc. former Vice Chairman of Time Warner (the world's leading media company) and the founder of CNN. In addition to the UN Foundation, Mr. Turner established the Nuclear Threat Initiative, the Goodwill Games and the Turner Foundation.
