J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. -- Founding Sponsor We thank J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., the Founding Sponsor of University for a Night for making this evening possible. In addition to helping to found University for a Night and sponsoring the event since its inception in 1997, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and its predecessor institutions have supported Synergos' efforts around the world for over ten years. Each year, the positive outcomes of this event have been directly related to the innovative participation of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation -- Leadership Sponsor
The Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation has been a generous supporter of Synergos since 1997 and this year is one of our key sponsors. For the past several years the Foundation has helped facilitate provocative and forward-thinking discussions at University for a Night. We applaud the Foundation's efforts to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana through its pledge of over $100 million over five years through its Secure the Future program.

Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs -- Leadership Sponsor
The participation of twenty-five NGO leaders from over 15 countries was made possible by the generous support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All of these individuals are members of Synergos' Senior Fellows program and/or Bridging Leadership Global Task Force. Through their participation in University for a Night, these individuals will gain fresh perspectives on global trends, concrete ideas on how to advance partnership, and a network of colleagues -- all of which will contribute to the richness of their ongoing work.
Government of Sweden -- Event Host
We are extremely grateful to the Government of Sweden for hosting University for a Night this year. The gracious involvement of the Permanent Mission of Sweden has allowed Synergos to hold University for a Night at the United Nations -- a venue representative of the objectives and the global ideals of both Synergos and the event itself.
