Abstract
This is notes from a presentation by two representatives of Community Foundations of Canada (www.cfc-fcc.ca/).
After painting a picture of the Canadian context, they offered examples of and lessons learned from the CFC's experiences as a membership organization of community foundations in convening, dialoguing, partnering, advocating, and focusing on impact. Challenges in dealing with different constituencies' perceptions of social justice are also discussed.
The presentation was held at Synergos' offices in New York City on March 30, 2007.
