Abstract
This is a feature article from Global Giving Matters, a newsletter on best practices and innovations in individual and family philanthropy and social investment. It is produced by Synergos for members of the Global Philanthropists Circle and other readers interested interesed in global philanthropy.
It looks at the efforts of five young people of wealth -- Philipp Engelhorn, Ben Goldhirsh, Kim Kreiling, Katherine Lorenz and Rebecca Winsor -- who are using their wealth, time, connections and ideas to address issues around the world that concern them. It also share insights from Alison Goldberg, co-author of a new book aimed at young people interested in social change philanthropy, and provides a brief listing of programs and organizations serving the needs of young philanthropists.
