This powerpoint, by Senior Fellow Agustin Landa, discusses how the Puebla Community Foundation began, the values a community foundation can bring to a community, and the skills and attitudes of community foundation leaders. The Puebla Community Foundation sought to update the context of philanthropy in Mexico by promoting philanthropy for a "future" based on accountability and results rather than relations and traditions. The foundation realized other local NGOs were eager to work together to create a stronger voice for the community.
