Mission/description

 

The AT&T Foundation invests globally in projects that are at the intersection of community needs and AT&T's business interests. Emphasis is placed on programs that serve the needs of people in communities where AT&T has a significant business presence, initiatives that use technology in innovative ways, and programs in which AT&T employees are actively involved as contributors or volunteers.

Limitations and additional information

  AT&T only gives grants to organizations that are invited to apply, but accept proposals for future consideration. The applications must fall under one of three categories: Education, Civic and community service, Arts and culture. In general, AT&T grants are awarded for specific projects rather than operating support. They do not donate AT&T products or services. Further AT&T does not give grants that go towards building an endowment or fundraising actitivies. They do not support organizations which are trying to have a political influence.
