IT Research Intern
Description
Candidate will have an opportunity to support Synergos’ ongoing design and planning process by researching and recommending emerging technologies suitable for the nonprofit sector to:
- Augment inter-office communications
- Build online communities of practice
- Store and share various types of information in a logical format
- Improve IT/program process management
- Reduce overall operational costs
Qualifications
- Strong interest in modern networking and web technologies
- Ability to research and assimilate data from various sources
- Must possess excellent written, communicational, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must be resourceful, freethinking, self-paced, and flexible
- Ability to carry out tasks independently
Length of Internship
A time commitment of 10 to 24 hours per week is preferred for at least three months. Ideal candidate will have some additional schedule flexibility during relocation.
Please note that this internship is unpaid, but reimbursement for public transportation costs will be provided.
