IT/Helpdesk Intern
Description
Candidate will have an opportunity to learn and excel with Windows based systems in a comfortable, moderately paced environment and will be required to:
- Receive, log and assist 40 users with trouble call related issues
- Provide user-level software support, including but not limited to, MS Office 2007 (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access), Adobe Acrobat, Exchange Outlook Web Access, and Raiser's Edge fundraising database)
- Research and troubleshoot unfamiliar errors using online knowledge base and other resources to effectively identify and resolve problems
- Research and document new technologies to support ongoing projects
- Will have a major role in writing and organizing documentation
Technical Requirements
- Strong MS Office 2007 skills
- Have received training on Windows operating systems--Windows server 2003, & XP;
- Possess strong working knowledge of Windows printing functions
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, Ethernet networking infrastructure & IP protocols desired
- Proficiency in any combination of the following is a plus: MS Office SharePoint Server 2007, Raisers' Edge v.7.5, MS Office Visio 2007, MS Office Access 2007, Symantec Client Security Cisco IP routing, & Internet security.

- Ability to carry out tasks independently
