Rowena Sison

Rowena Sison joined Synergos 2002. As the Senior Program Coordinator, she serves as the liaison to the field offices for the U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership, Middle East/North Africa, Senior Fellows and Brazil programs in the New York headquarters by providing programmatic, logistical and budgetary support for the department.

Rowena is a native from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Concordia University and is a 2005 graduate from CUNY-City College of New York with a master's degree in International Relations. Her master's thesis on Regionalism in South-South Cooperation discusses the paramount importance of promoting and establishing deep and meaningful socio-economic cooperation among developing states to alleviate poverty. Rowena is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Tagalog.
