Janet Besso Becker
Janet Besso Becker, Senior Director, Organizational Development and Human Resources, joined Synergos as Director of Operations in September of 1998 With the recent reorganization, her portfolio has shifted to provide deeper focus in the areas of organizational development and human resources, strengthening the organization's performance systems, enhancing the efforts to attract and develop a world-class staff and creating a culture of self-understanding, learning, collaboration and accountability.
Ms. Becker spent eighteen years in the financial services industry. As a Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank she helped develop and implement Chase's corporate social responsibility program; she also served as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning for Chase's branches. After Chase she served as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning at The CIT Group. Prior to joining Synergos, she and her husband owned and ran a restaurant in the Caribbean. She earned a BA in Fine Arts and Sociology at Brandeis University and served on its National Alumni Board. She is also a member of the Chase Alumni Association Board.
