Hilda Gertze

Hilda Gertze, Senior Coordinator, Southern Africa, joined Synergos in September 2003 after a career break which enabled her to indulge her love of traveling and exploration. Hilda is a South African whose belief in a just and equitable society motivated her to pursue a career in the development sector. She previously worked as a Program Manager at the Social Change Assistance Trust, an indigenous intermediary grantmaker, active in the rural development and social justice sector in South Africa. Her work in the Southern Africa office makes use of her considerable organizational, financial accounting and administrative skills which she honed during 15 years of work experience in the sector.
