Cristina Parnetti

Cristina Parnetti, Senior Manager, Networks, joined Synergos in July 1998. She holds a BA in International Affairs from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina, and an MA in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University. Cristina has been working on Latin American economic and social development issues for the past ten years, both from the non-profit and for-profit sectors.

She has consulted for UNIFEM, UNICEF and Trickle Up on initiatives on economic empowerment, gender equity and education. As an associate with the School of International Relations at Universidad del Salvador, she conducted extensive research on international Latin American policies and development. Cristina also worked for the financial services industry in Argentina, where she launched and managed the first national system to link local investors to international markets. A national from Argentina, she is actively involved with social initiatives that assist children at risk from marginal communities in that country. Cristina has lived and traveled extensively throughout Latin America and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
