Azeen Salimi
Azeen Salimi joined Synergos in October 2005 to manage the Senior Fellows Program. For six years before joining Synergos, Azeen worked with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Burma, Bangladesh and the Sudan as a humanitarian affairs officer, and in the New York office as MSF's association coordinator and liaison to the United Nations. She has also worked in the past at the Africa desk of the Committee to Protect Journalists and at the Legal Aid Society's Immigration Law Unit. Azeen has an undergraduate degree in Journalism from University of Illinois and a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia University.
